FICIL is a focus and productivity app: you run timed focus sessions, and that focused time builds a city, unlocks achievements, and keeps a streak. You need an account to use it, and you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.
Rewards — XP, coins, streaks, city progress — are earned through real, server-verified focus sessions. Attempting to manipulate timers, exploit bugs for unearned rewards, or automate sessions isn't allowed, and we may reset or adjust an account's progress if we find clear evidence of it.
Posts, comments, and Focus Room activity are visible to other users per your privacy settings. Be respectful — harassment, hate speech, or spam may result in content removal or account suspension.
You own what you post. By posting to Social or a Focus Room, you're allowing other users (within your visibility settings) to see it inside the app — we don't claim any broader rights to it.
We may update these terms as the app evolves — meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
FICIL is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we're not liable for lost progress from factors outside our control (e.g. device issues, connectivity).
